April’s contemporary eclectic background provides an understanding and network that surfaces viable management candidates that succeed in today’s new world of consumerism. An early mover in the digital universe with marketing experience at Yahoo and AOL, April moved into the media space at McGraw-Hill, where steady promotions led to her becoming Director of Strategy for their Media Division. A subsequent stay at Bloomberg broadened her digital experience. April was Head of Consumer Marketing for both Bloomberg.com and Businessweek.com plus Global Head of Marketing for Bloomberg Content Services. Just before joining us, April was Director of Marketing Strategy for Tory Burch.
